Amilani Perera's latest collection is inspired by the Sri Lankan traditional Kandyan folk dance ‘mayura wannama’. The dance reflects the majestic form of the lavishing peacock. Just as a lotus blossoms through the mud, the collection reflects how a baby peacock transforms itself to a beautiful, majestic bird.
